To develop PolyU into a world-class university supported by an active presence in, and substantial connectivity with, the Chinese mainland.

Mission

To further enhance the image and recognition of PolyU in the Chinese mainland and to effectively market PolyU's core activities for target mainland audiences.
To leverage on the strengths of existing PolyU establishments and network on the mainland as well as the pool of mainland alumni to help achieve the University's strategic goals.
To facilitate cultural and academic exchanges with the Chinese mainland.
To act as an effective facilitator in cultivating strategic collaborations and connectivity with selected partners in the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Macao.
