The Distinguished Chinese Visiting Scholars Scheme

The Distinguished Chinese Visiting Scholars Scheme, first launched in 1994, is one of PolyU's endeavours to promote and enhance academic exchange between Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Through the Scheme, PolyU each year invites six scholars who are eminent academics of international repute to visit the University. During their stay at PolyU, the scholars share with both staff and students their valuable knowledge and experience through public lectures and seminars. These activities will not only enhance the exchange of knowledge but also facilitate academic collaborations between PolyU and institutions on the mainland.
