To Experience the University life on the Chinese Mainland!
(Outbound Exchange)

To enrich student's life experience, PolyU jointly organizes Student Exchange Programme (Chinese mainland) with a number of institutions on the
Chinese mainland. We believe exposure of this kind is significant in student's all-round development.
All first-year full-time PolyU students are welcome to apply for our Outbound Exchange. Successful applicants will study in a mainland
university for a semester, either semester one or two of the second year.
Through the programme, students are expected to:
- Learn about the Chinese culture
- Understand better their own values and beliefs
- Become more independent, mature and confident
- Improve their Chinese proficiency, particularly Putonghua skills
- Make friends with people from different backgrounds
- Develop a global dimension

Selection Criteria for the Exchange Programme:
- full-time PolyU undergraduate student
- good academic results
- fluent English or Putonghua (meeting the minimum requirements of the host institution)
- independent, outgoing, flexible and sociable personality
- active participation in extra-curricular activities
- satisfactory interview performance
