Arrival Arrangement
Please submit your Arrival Notice to Chinese Mainland Affairs Office (CMAO) as soon as you have confirmed your arrival details.
Around 1 week before commencement of semester.
Normally, exchange students are arranged to reside at PolyU's Student Halls of Residence http://www.polyu.edu.hk/~hall/nonlocal/nls_ugc_form.html. Nevertheless, due to the huge demand for our Halls of Residence in recent years, some/all of our exchange students may be arranged to stay at off-campus hostel / guest house. The estimated rental fees for the Halls of Residence and off-campus hostel / guest house are similar. You will be informed of the final result on the accommodation location in due course.
- 1.You should go to the PolyU Student Halls of Residence or a specified off-campus hostel / guest house and check-in at the reception counter directly. A room will be arranged for you immediately.
The reception counter at PolyU Student Halls of Residence opens from 7:00am to 10:00pm. If you are not able to check in within the working hour, you must inform CMAO in advance in order to make re-arrangement for you. Otherwise you will NOT be able to get a room immediately, and have to arrange the accommodation for one night by yourself. You will be informed about the opening hours of the reception counter at off-campus hostel / guest house once it is available.
