Abstract:
Using suitable teaching and assessment methods to facilitate the achievement of intended learning outcomes is crucial to the implementation of OBA. However, it is often noted that conventional teaching and assessment methods are seldom effective in bringing about intended outcomes valued by today??s employers, particularly for competences such as solving professional problems.

Some colleagues have redesigned their teaching and assessment methods so that they are better aligned with the intended learning outcomes. In this workshop, you will be shown, in videos, the outcomes of their projects. You will also be shown how to access a rich resource bank where a wide variety of effective methods are readily available for your consideration.
