Abstract:
Dissertation carries a high weighting of credits, and the results of the assessment will affect students' final degree classification. To develop criteria and standards for assessing the performance level of students in dissertation is therefore an important task for programme teams and individual teachers in monitoring students' academic progress and standard. This workshop is to help staff to design holistic and analytic rubric sheets that can be used to assess students' performance in dissertations. Typical examples will be included in the discussion.
