3.1 Different views on 'What is a good answer?'
 
University students also hold different views about good answers. Here are some common views:
 

Answer X: It is important to reproduce as many points as possible from the notes or the textbook, whether you understand them or not.

Answer Y: The answer should be able to give a meaningful explanation of the topic, showing how things are related and applied.

Answer Z: I wish that I could come up with original ideas of my own in addition to showing a deep understanding of the topic.
