The SHTM and OCT International Hotel Management Co Ltd (OCT) have entered into an agreement covering research, the provision of consultancy services, student placement and faculty attachment. OCT is a state-owned enterprise that owns and manages hotels in the Chinese mainland, including the InterContinental OCT Shenzhen, Crowne Plaza Shenzhen, Interlaken OCT Hotel and City Inn hotels. The signing ceremony was held at PolyU on 20 June 2008 and attended by SHTM staff members and OCT delegates.
