DR. GUO YINGZHI
Associate Professor & Head of Faculty in Tourism Management of Tourism Management, Fudan University

Dr. Yingzhi Guo is Associate Professor, an advisor of graduate students and head of faculty in Tourism Management of Tourism Department, Fudan University . Dr. Guo held a Ph.D. from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999 and was a Post Doctorate Fellow of Business Management Tourist Marketing of Fudan University from 1999 to 2001.

Dr. Guo had been a visiting scholar in Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Sejong University in South Korea , a visiting professor in Tourism Economics & Marketing Institute, Dresden University of Technology, Department of Leisure and Tourism Management, Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Dr. Guo is actively involved in research activities in Tourism Development and Marketing. She has participated in the Tourism Master Development Planning of various provinces, cities and townships, and has led many key programs supported by China National Tourism Administration and the China National Natural Scientific Five Year Plan and to the Year of 2010, 2020 Perspective Scheme, Responsible on the Tourist Market Demand and Its Development of China and the Sustainable Development of Chinese Tourism and Co-ordination System, National Research Project Supported by National Nature Science Funds, Responsibilities on the Tourist Market Investigation, Analysis, Forecast, and Marketing Strategy.

Dr. Guo actively participates in domestic and international seminars and conferences as well as Chinese academic journals in tourism. Her main publications include “A Study on Potential Tourism Market for 2010 Shanghai World Expo”, “A Trend on the Future Tourism Consumption”, “Development Strategies of Tourism Industry for the Western Areas in China in the Cross-Century”, “A Study and Practice on the Eco-tourism Management”, and “A Study on the Tourism Market Features and Marketing Policies of the Famous Historic & Cultural City in China”, etc.
