Connie CHENG started to work for China International Travel Service Beijing Branch, one of the biggest travel agents in China in 1986 and joined the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission in 1993. In 2003, she was appointed deputy director of International Tourism Promotion Dept.& MICE Dept. of SMTAC. Divisions within the SMTAC responsible for the overall marketing and co-ordination of convention and incentive travel business as well as leisure travel in Shanghai . In 2004, she was promoted to Director of International Tourism Promotion Dept.& MICE Dept. of SMTAC. She was appointed ambassador for China P. R in 2003.
