of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University
is pleased to announce the First Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate
Students Research in Tourism, in collaboration with the Institute
For Tourism Studies (IFT) in Macao. This event will take place in
conjunction with the Fifth Biennial Conference on Tourism in
Asia: Development, Marketing and Sustainability, to take place
in Hong Kong on May 23-25, 2002.
The aim of the Forum
is to provide a "research forum" among post-graduate students
and faculty members engaged in post-graduate teaching and research
supervision in hospitality and tourism programme in the Asia Pacific
region so that they can exchange information on their research and
also network among themselves for future collaboration in research
and academic exchanges.

The Forum will
feature several plenary sessions that will include panel presentations

POST-CONFERENCE
TOUR
Florinda
International Hotels will offer a half-day tour of Macao for 40
forum participants on a 'first come first served' basis in the morning
of May 23, leaving enough time for delegates to attend the Fifth
Biennial Conference on Tourism in Asia in Hong Kong in the evening
of the same day.
