Call for Papers
 

CALL FOR PAPERS
The Forum will focus on a broad range of topics related to research in tourism. The Forum invites papers on either completed research or a preliminary report on "research in progress". Authors (or at least one co-author in case of co-authored papers) must be a post-graduate student and the paper should be based on a research project undertaken as part of authors' post-graduate research projects.

BEST PAPERS
Best papers will be competitively selected ad authors will be acknowledged with a plaque and certificate.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Three-page abstracts (typed doublie-spaced) of proposed papers should be submitted for the final selection process. Indicate the author's name and affiliation onlyu on a separate cover page. Author's name should not be indicated anywhere in the abstract. Indicate clearly "Paper for Graduate Students Forum".
  • Submit abstracts to Forum Organiser by either electronic mail (hmkchon@polyu.edu.hk) or by regular airmail.
  • Deadline for submitting abstracts is January 31, 2002. Paper Review Committee wil conduct a refereed screening of abstracts. Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to submit completed papers before April 3, 2002.
  • Once the paper is accepted, at least on of the authors must register for and present the paper at the Forum.

PUBLICATION PLAN
Final copies of accepted papers will be professionally published as an edited conference proceedings PRIOR TO the Forum.
