    Over 30 research papers from around the world will be presented at the Summit, dealing with a wide variety of topics of global interest, including convention facility management, industry development in China, legal aspects of conventions, and education and training.


    DOME Academic Council Meeting

    Data on Meetings and Events (DOME) is an international, private, not for profit foundation headquartered in Washington, D.C. Initiated by leading industry professional associations such as ICCA, IACVB, IAPCO, EIBTM and EFCT, its mission is to improve the quality and accessibility of global research and data on the industry.

    At the November 2002 meeting of the international DOME Board of Directors in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Academic Council of DOME was officially approved. Its purpose is to provide research and other scholarly services to the DOME organization. The first meeting of the DOME Academic Council, currently consisting of 9 leading academic institutions from around the world, will be held on 30 August 2003.
