Professor Leo Jago is Deputy CEO and Director of Research of the Cooperative Research Centre for Sustainable Tourism (CRC) and a Professor of Tourism at Victoria University. For the last three years, he has been the Chair of the Council of Australian University Tourism and Hospitality Educators (CAUTHE). Leo’s research and teaching interests are eclectic but have tended to focus in the fields of events, tourism planning, marketing and evaluation. Outside academe, he has continuously owned and operated small tourism enterprises over the past 18 years.
