The 2003 Convention & Expo Summit will be held in Hong Kong, China on 29-31 August 2003. Hong Kong is one of the leading convention and exposition destinations in Asia and as such presents an excellent site for this gathering. The Summit is jointly hosted and organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Hotel & Tourism Management and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas' William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration.

Established in 1990, the Convention & Expo Summit has been held on an annual basis in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reflecting the growing importance and significance of conventions and expositions in Asia, it will be hosted in Hong Kong in 2003. The Summit will provide educators, researchers, industry practitioners and representatives of professional industry associations in the conventions, meetings and expositions field with a forum for exchange of information and debate. The program will feature competitively selected paper presentations, panels and workshops. Prominent industry leaders are invited to deliver keynote speeches. Site visits will be arranged.
