Warmest Welcome to Bo Yan Family
Dear BoYan Hall Residents:
On behalf of our Hall Tutors and myself I would like to extend our very warm welcome to all of you to the family of Bo Yan Hall. I am sure you will all be excited and looking forward to the upcoming school year, whether you just entered the postgraduate programs or became one year senior at PolyU.
Residential life during your postgraduate education will surely represent one of the most rewarding times of your life, which offers a unique opportunity for you to live in your own community. Your active participation in creating a better sense of community is essential. This is where you, citizens of the global village, can learn to understand and appreciate each other, who may have diversified backgrounds in culture, belief, and ethnicity as well as in education. This is also an ideal place for you to learn to be more tolerant and cooperate in daily life and even in academic research, and most importantly to be nurtured to quality professionals. These are just as important to your future development in Hong Kong, in China and in the world as your postgraduate studies.
Given the limited space we have on the campus, it is certainly a privilege for you to live in the Hall. I truly hope you can take advantage of that, and make the best out of it.
Our job here is to lend you a helping hand to make this community an interesting and enjoyable place. Our Hall Tutors on each floor and I will work together with you closely. If you need help or have suggestions, please feel free to talk to anyone of us.
Again, welcome to BoYan Hall, and we are looking forward to meeting with you.
