Non-Hall Accommodation

There are quite a number of private rental residence available on lease in the vicinity of Hung Hom area (within 15-minute walking distance of PolyU campus). The rent of old buildings in Hung Hom district is more affordable. However, please note that usually those buildings are over 30 years’ history, 6 - 8 storeys tall and without lift facility. Very often, a large flat is divided into several small suites of 150 – 200 square feet, with independent washroom and toilet in each suite (for ref.: monthly rent between HK$2,000 - HK$3,000). If you can form a small group of 4 – 6 students, you may look for a whole flat yourselves.
