In the event of FIRE


In case of fire :

  1. Do not panic;
  2. Sound the fire alarm by activating the break-glass alarm in the corridor;
  3. If time permits, call the security hotline (Hung Hom: 31590099; Homantin: 39962099);
  4. Switch off power / fuel supply;
  5. Close doors;
  6. Do not use the lifts, use the stairs and leave the building as quickly as possible;
  7. Do not return for valuables or for any reason until area is declared safe

Upon discovering a fire :

  1. Keep calm;
  2. Sound the fire alarm by activating the break-glass alarm in the corridor;
  3. Call the security hotline (Hung Hom: 31590099; Homantin: 39962099);
  4. Only tackle the fire if you are absolutely sure that danger is not imminent;
  5. Close doors to contain fire and smoke;
  6. Exit the building.

Upon hearing the fire alarm :

  1. Keep calm;
  2. Stop your work immediately;
  3. Exit the building;
  4. Urge and assist other people in the building to leave.

Notes for residents with disability

For a resident or a resident hosting a visitor with a visual, motor or hearing disability, please note the followings:

1. The residents should have declared their disability to the Halls upon check-in for their special need of assistance;

2. The visitors should inform the hall staff at the Visitor Registration Counter or Hall Reception both at G/F upon their registration of visit for

i. their disability

ii. their special need of assistance and

iii. the place of their visit

  6. Do not return for valuables or for any reason until area is declared safe
