C) Residential Period

Normally students can check-in one week before the commencement of the exchange programme, and check-out by the end of the exchange programme.

Early withdrawal from any accommodation provided by the University shall be subject to an administrative charge. The administrative charge can be waived when a student fulfill one of the conditions stated in “Regulations Governing Hall Residence” clause 4.2.

D) Off-campus Housing

When the Student Halls are not available, eligible students may be assigned to Off-campus Housing subject to availability. These students could opt to move back to the Student Halls when vacancies arise. The University reserves the discretion on the assignment of residential places whenever necessary.

E) Application

Students interested in University-managed accommodations should read and agree to comply with the Regulations Governing Hall Residence and activate their PolyU net account first. Then submit the on-line application and roommate preference at least two weeks in advance of the expected arrival date.
