Emotional Health on Campus
Being psychologically fit helps us to overcome life’s hurdles. The Office of Counselling and Wellness (OCW) strives to enhance students psychological, physical and spiritual wellness OCW provides proactive and professional counselling, physical education/sports development and wellness promotion programs that support students’ holistic wellness development.
- Psychological wellness: to enhance students' awareness of and accepting a wide of range of feelings, as well as their ability to handle negative emotions and cope with stress effectively.
- Physical wellness: to encourage the students to take care of their body for optimal health and functioning, as well as to maintain a healthy quality of life that allows them to get through daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress.
- Spiritual wellness: to facilitate students in the search for meaning and purpose in human existence and assist them to develop a deep appreciation for the depth and expanse of life.
