Collection of Recyclable Materials

FMO has committed to protecting the environment and is promising to provide collection of recycle items as far as practicable and possible for the campus as part of a larger effort to make the Hong Kong Polytechnic University a more environmentally friendly and conscientious campus. With a view to continuing improvement, the recycling facilities have been enhancing for collection of recycle items, which are, but not limited to, waste paper, cardboards, plastic bottles, aluminium cans, rechargeable batteries and CD-ROMs/VCDs.

At present, we have placed drop-off bins for collection of all recycle items at different locations as per attached campus map (Location of Recycle Bins). Collection of large amount of waste paper can also be arranged with advanced notice and all collected items are scheduled for recycling by designed contractors on a weekly basis.
