Academic Programmes

Keeping with the Faculty's emphasis on biliteracy and trilingualism, the two language departments offer a range of academic programmes at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Graduates of programmes can expect employment as administrative position in commerce, media, publishing, education, service-oriented, or the communication industry.

Language enhancement programmes
The Chinese Language Centre of the Department of Chinese & Bilingual Studies, as well as the English Language Centre offer language enhancement programmes that match individual needs. In addition, they also organize various extra-curricula activities attended by foreign nationals and exchange students. This creates a practical yet relaxing environment for students to improve their language skills.

Broadening students' horizons
At the same time, the Faculty aims to broaden students' horizons so they can meaningfully relate their professional studies to different contexts. The General Education Centre has been offering courses in China Studies and broadening education subjects.
