English Mentorship Programme Workshop

After the first gathering in December 2007, the department’s Mentorship Programme had another activity on 29 February 2008. The Mentorship Programme Workshop is a new attempt which aims at enhancing the self-development of the participants and broadening their scope of sharing.

The workshop was conducted by one of the mentors, Dr Paul Cheung, on the topic of Humor in Communication. He has a PhD in psychology and has many years of experience in teaching communication and psychology. On top of discussing the basic principles and some classic examples on using humor in communication, Dr Cheung also did some exercises with the participants to practise the different skills learned. Participated mentors and mentees enjoyed this workshop and found the knowledge is very useful.
