Customer Perceived Value Survey Highlights Need for Resources to be Re-allocated

The latest Customer Perceived Value (CPV) survey suggests that Hong Kong retailers have been focusing on Chinese Mainland customers at the expense of visitors from other countries. This was among the findings disclosed at a press briefing on 29 April 2009. The survey involved over 300 retail outlets in Hong Kong over the period January to February 2009. The results led to the recommendation that the local retail sector reviews the distribution of its resources in relation to customer service as well as strategies.

The Customer Perceived Value Survey was conducted by the Asian Centre for Brand Management (ACBM) of the Department of Management and Marketing.
