Creation
of WebCT Accounts for Second Semester in 2009/10
WebCT accounts for both subject lecturers and students are created for
all subjects according to the verified list of lecturers of the "LEC"
and "LTL" components (and additional components request by
department) in the new Time Tabling System
of AS (Academic Secretariat).
Lecturer
can request import of student accounts classified by "Subject Groups"
or "Section & Component code" to the WebCT subject web
sites from the subject registration database of AS.
Besides
the above subject web sites which will be ready within the first week
if:
- you need more
than one subject web site for a single subject; or
- you need a
new subject web site with a different list of students (please provide
a list of student numbers for importing of accounts from central database);
or
- you need a new
subject web site with list of students under multiple "Subject
Codes" (or multiple "Subject Groups" or multiple "Section
and Component Codes") for several colleagues to take part in
team teaching; or
- you need to
add the account(s) of your teaching assistant(s) as "Co-designer"
of your subject web sites
