In October, PolyU, the only awardee from outside the Chinese mainland, was commended for its contributions to the 2008 Olympic Games at the Honouring Ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Apart from a recap of the memorable moments, this issue also gives an update of the work of the four task forces set up to help rebuild the quake-hit Sichuan.
