On 18 December, some 400 Secondary Four to Six students from about 40 schools participated in PolyU STEM Day 2018, a new initiative of the University. The event was kicked off by Principal Assistant Secretary (School Development) of the Education Bureau Mr K.K. Lee, PolyU Council Member Mr Richard Leung and faculty representatives. Through lectures, research experience sharing, workshops and laboratory tours, the event aims to stimulate students’ interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and enhance their understanding of PolyU’s research achievements.
