“Industry 4.0”, commonly referred to as the fourth industrial revolution, is bringing fundamental changes to the way people live, work and do business. With the advancement in artificial intelligence and robotics in this new technological era, it opens up opportunities to industry and academia for new collaborative ventures. Recently, at the Times Higher Education’s Asia Universities Summit, President Prof. Timothy W. Tong spoke in the panel session “How Universities can lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.
