On 4-5 November, PolyU and Peking University co-hosted the third Summit on University Social Responsibility (USR), a key initiative of the USR Network, in Beijing. This year, the Summit attracted over 100 academics worldwide for fruitful exchange with more than 50 speakers from the higher education sector.
The topics discussed included social responsibility, translating vision into action and impact, challenges and opportunities of USR in Asia, community engagement, nurturing future leaders through Service-Learning, and building disaster response capacity etc. Details>>
