On 1 September, PolyU, Peking University and the University of Chicago officially launched a joint programme to promote social work education and research in the Chinese mainland. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, Secretary for Labour and Welfare.
This tripartite partnership has gained the support of a three-million US-dollar endowment from the Anna Pao Sohmen Foundation and Iris Pacific Investment. Students and scholars will be benefitted through the exchange of knowledge and professional skills as well as the exposure to diverse research approaches among the three universities. Details>>
