Its second part dubbed “Leggs” won a Gold Award at the DFA Design for Asia Awards 2015 (Product and Industrial Design Category). Developed by Dr Allan Chan and his team at the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, “Leggs” is an intelligent robotic female lower-limb torso that can simulate within seconds any body type, of any size or ethnic background, drawing on a massive database of body sizes collected from populations worldwide.
