This November, the Consulate General of Israel and PolyU co-organized Israel Week 2015 featuring a series of activities to introduce Israeli science and technologies as well as culture, music and films to the University community. To kick off the event, Mr Sagi Karni, Consul General of Israel in Hong Kong and Macau, gave a talk titled “Israel: From the land of milk and honey to start up nation”. Other highlights included a piano recital by Israeli young award-winning pianist Alon Mamo, and a joint workshop on “chemical biology and drug discovery” by Weizmann Institute of Science and PolyU’s State Key Laboratory of Chirosciences.
