Recently, Dean of School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) Prof. Kaye Chon gave a speech on “Tourism Today and Tomorrow” at the special panel of UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) Ulysses Prize Laureates held in Medellin, Columbia.
At the event, Prof. Chon met the first African undergraduate of SHTM, Mr Percy Ngwira. Graduated with a bachelor degree in Hotel Catering and Tourism Management in 2007, Mr Ngwira is now the First Secretary for Tourism and the Zambian Embassy in Paris, France, and Zambia’s Liaison Officer to the UNWTO.
