Dr Gail Forey at PolyU's Department of English is one of the three remarkable academics honoured with this year’s UGC Teaching Award in recognition of her commitment to making a difference through teaching.
Over the past 19 years of teaching at PolyU, Dr Forey is not only regarded as an inspirational teacher by fellow colleagues, but also seen as a role model by students. She challenges students to reach their potentials through interactive resources, and in particular, energizes students by apprenticing them into the world of independent research and inquiry learning.
Dr Forey has also made significant contributions to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. In recent years, she has led large-scale consultancy projects which focus on the professional development of teachers across primary, secondary and tertiary contexts. Details>>
