Designed by PolyU’s Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation, “Festival Vernissage: Social Gastronomy” event at the 10DAYFEST 2014 was honoured with the Silver A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design category. The winning event was selected by the 70-person grand jury panel of the A’ Design Award & Competition which consists of internationally influential press members, established designers, leading academics and prominent entrepreneurs.
To address the food-waste issue, this winning event involved celebrity chefs along with grassroots groups to join hands to prepare a feast composed entirely of discarded food for social good. Details>>
