The University earlier paid tribute to two individual staff members and two teams at the President’s Awards for Excellent Performance/Achievement for 2013/2014 to recognize their outstanding achievements in teaching, research and scholarly activities as well as overall contribution.
Dr Gail Forey, Associate Professor at the Department of English and Prof. Teng Jin-guang, Chair Professor of Structuring Engineering and Director of Research Institute for Sustainable Urban Development, were named winners of the President’s Awards for Excellent Performance/Achievement in Teaching (Individual Award) and Research and Scholarly Activities (Individual Award) respectively.
In addition, 33 staff members from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and Industrial Centre as well as Mainland and International Student Services Office were presented the Faculty/School Awards for Outstanding Performance/Achievement in Research and Scholarly Activities (Team Award) as well as Overall Contribution (Team Award) respectively.
