On 8 January, PolyU conferred University Fellowships upon eight outstanding individuals to pay tribute to their significant contributions to the University and the community. The recipients were Dr Chung King-fai, Dr Samuel Lam Pak-nin (in absentia), Dr Humphrey Leung Kwong-wai, Dr Dennis Ng Wang-pun, Ms Josephine Siao Fong-fong, Prof. Wang Jianhua, Mr Alexander Woo Chung-ho and Dr Royce Yuen Man-chun.
