With an aim of offering retired elderly and professionals the opportunities to re-enter the workforce, The Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation and the Institute of Active Ageing of PolyU jointly organize the "Encore Fellowship" programme, riding on the success of last year's programme.

On 29 July, this year's programme was kicked off by a forum which saw retired professionals and companies with successful corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes shared their fruitful experiences in creating second careers for the third age. The event also explored the possible synergies of CSR and silver-aged partnership among businesses and industries.
