The School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) has recently won support of the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) to establish its first Global Training Centre in Asia on the university campus. The agreement was signed by Prof. Kaye Chon, Director of SHTM, and Mr Didier Scaillet, Chief Development Officer for MPI, on 16 October.

Apart from expanding MPI’s available locations for individuals in the meeting industry to receive hands-on education at the local level, it also signifies that SHTM has intensified its efforts to cope with the rapid growth of convention and event management as a profession in Asia. Details >>
