Fostering training through close clinical partnership

The School of Nursing earlier organized a Clinical Partners Appreciation Ceremony to thank its long time clinical partners for offering placement opportunities to nursing students of the University. The School’s strong network of clinical partners included local hospitals, the Department of Health and non-government organizations.

Addressing the ceremony, Chair Professor and Head of School of Nursing Prof. Alex Molasiotis expressed sincere appreciation for the ardent support from partners in the past years to provide a valuable clinical learning environment for students. He said, “To steer nursing education at PolyU, we look forward to establishing stronger ties and developing more collaborative projects with our partners to nurture the nursing professionals of tomorrow.”

In the coming academic year, nursing students of PolyU will be offered placement opportunities in public health services by the Public Health Nursing Division of the Department of Health.
