Recently, PolyU’s teaching and research hotel, Hotel ICON, received three awards in the ranking exercise of TripAdvisor, one of the world’s largest travel websites. Notably in 2014, it ranks third in the “Top 25 Hotels in China” category, second in “Top 25 Luxury Hotels in China” and first in “Top 25 hotels for Romance in China” among over 85,000 hotels in the China region.
