PolyU students receive IT Scholarship Award

 

Six PolyU students received the prestigious Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award 2013 organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and jointly sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission and the Hongkong Bank Foundation.

Excelling in academic performance and all-roundness as well as possessing a passion for innovation and technology and good communication skills, these awardees received a maximum of $150,000 each for them to participate in a series of service projects, overseas attachment, mentorship and local internship programmes. The awardees are:

  • Cheung King-wai, Department of Building and Real Estate
  • Kwok Ying-kit, Department of Mechanical Engineering
  • Lam Pui-yan, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences
  • Lam Tat-chung, School of Nursing
  • Patience Lee Pui-yan, School of Design
  • To Chin-wai, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences
