PolyU students win at Seoul MICE Youth Challenge

 

A team of four students (Vivian Hung, Vivian Lee, Kion Chan and Kiki Go) from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management won the First Prize at the Seoul MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Youth Challenge of the Korea MICE Expo 2012. The team mocked bid for a major international convention scheduled to be held in 2017 and presented a proposal demonstrating the competitive advantage Hong Kong had over other destinations. They competed with representatives from Siam University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (Singapore Campus), Beijing International Studies University and Dongduk Women’s University. The Expo was attended by more than 300 buyers and 200 organizations representing the MICE industry this year.
