PolyU technologies showcased in Beijing High-Tech Expo |
The 13th China Beijing International Hi-Tech Expo was held in Beijing from 27 to 31 May. PolyU showed its newly-developed technologies at the Expo, including an advanced railway monitoring system and a bio-medical ultrasound system. Ms Liu Yandong, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and State Councillor, visited the PolyU booth to know more about the University’s inventions. After the researchers had introduced to her the bio-medical ultrasound technology, she said she hoped that Hong Kong and mainland enterprises could further their collaboration and exchanges in science and technology.
