Human Rainbow breaks world record
In celebration of the University's 65 years of illustrious history, 11,273 PolyU students, alumni, staff, friends and families formed the world's largest Human Rainbow at the Hong Kong Stadium on 6 October 2002. The giant Human Rainbow has been officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.

為慶祝香港理工大學建校六十五周年，一萬一千二百七十三名理大學生、校友、員工及其親屬於二零零二年十月六日齊集於香港大球場，組成世界上最大型的彩虹圖案，後被正式列入《健力士世界紀錄》。
