"Enhancing Teaching and Learning through Assessment" is an inter-institutional project in Hong Kong which aims to enhance the quality of teaching and learning through designing, implementing, and making effective use of assessment practices.

In the morning of 13th June 2005, over 500 conference participants from all over the world gathered at the Jockey Club Auditorium on the campus of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and witnessed the official opening of the Assessment Resource Centre (ARC).
