in the forefront of cognitive and environmental
constraints.

on the resources developed from teachers
in higher education. A particular focus
will stress on subject specific context
issues in assessment, design of student
assessment measures, the use of assessment
results, the formative role of assessment,
and the practical and applicable usages
of assessment to sustain their positive
impacts on student learning. |

platform for academic exchange that fosters
a collaborative spirit between teachers,
and to facilitate sharing of ideas, experience,
and reflection. To promote the effective
use of assessment practices in the higher
education sector at the individual subject
level, inter-institutional level, as well
as inter-cultural level.

to both teachers and students. To keep
teachers informed of current issues in
assessment and the latest development
in practices and research. To continuously
solicit contributions from teachers and
other education practitioners both in
Hong Kong and worldwide, and to disseminate
them using a user-friendly categorisation
and retrival format to ensure the effective
use of assessment practices.
