| The Hong Kong Polytechnic University-Peking University China Social Work Research Centre is located at Winter Lodge of Peking University. Its mission is to explore alternative and sustainable department paths in China that could move beyond the limitations of planned economy and market economy. With solid research on the areas of social development and social policy research, the Center serves as an international hub for linking with social workers and social policy makers from Mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas. The Centre is also devoted to the development and indigenization of social work theory and practice in China, with an aim to build a team of organic and grounded scholars who are committed to the social change of China in the long term. |
