ITC
stages anniversary fashion show
A fashion
show featuring outstanding works of students of the Institute
of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) was staged at the Jockey
Club Auditorium on 8 November as a highlight of a three-day
annual conference for the International Foundation of Fashion
Technology Institutes (IFFTI).
The
45-minute fashion show featured a premium collection of
design works by students of sub-degree, undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. Some of the works were award winning
and were shown to the public for the first time.
IFFTI
- an international alliance of tertiary institutions in
fashion and textiles - holds an international conference
every year to allow members to exchange views on innovations
of the technology and latest development of fashion and
textiles. After meetings in New Delhi, Sao Paulo and London,
this year's Conference came to PolyU campus during the period
of 7 to 9 November.
