PolyU's six engineering departments banded together to show off their engineering prowess on campus during the Technology Week from 27 May to 1 June.

Organised by the Faculty of Engineering, the one-week event featured a series of symposiums, conferences, seminars and workshops on hot engineering-related topics, including air pollution control, information technology, engineering mechanics, environmental technology and Internet technology.

During the week, three leading scholars from the Chinese mainland and overseas delivered public seminars. They are Prof. Fu Sung, Professor of the Department of Engineering Mechanics, Tsinghua University; Prof. Li Mingshu, Designated Director of the Institute of Software, the Chinese Academy of Science; and Prof. Bruce Eisenstein, Arthur J. Rowland Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Drexel University in the US.
